We are continuing to follow guidance from the UK Government, Public Health England and The World Health Organisation on best practices so that you can book with confidence.

We've been awarded the Visit England 'We're Good To Go' mark and the AA 'Covid-19 Confident Award in recognition of the actions we've taken. We've always been proud of our hygiene standards and now in addition we have our enhanced cleaning protocol.

Face coverings:

Kindly wear a face mask and make use of the hand sanitiser when entering and leaving 27 Brighton Guesthouse. We request that face coverings are also worn in the communal areas; hallway, passages and breakfast room. Once seated in the breakfast / lounge room, you are welcome to remove your face covering.

 

Servicing your room:

For stays of two nights or more, we will enter your room, while you are out exploring Brighton to replenish items, but not make your bed. We will, of course, wear a face covering and be very vigilant with hand washing. 

 

Breakfast:

We offer a “continental home-style breakfast” in the downstairs breakfast room to guests who have chosen breakfast as part of their stay. Breakfast includes fresh fruits, yoghurts, granola, croissants/pastries and an egg/bacon offering which varies daily.

Depending on numbers at breakfast time, you may be allocated a time slot in order to reduce the numbers eating at any one time.

 

Cancellation policy:

We are now operating in an environment where restricted movement, the cancellation of events and lockdowns are more familiar. To that end, we encourage guests to take into account our fourteen-day cancellation policy which we reserve the right to apply across all bookings, even if you have to self-isolate, or fall ill and are not able to stay. We would, of course, offer free cancellations to all affected bookings if we are forced to close.

Under exceptional circumstances beyond our control, and only as a last resort, we may be forced to change or cancel your booking. In this instance we would offer either a full refund or the option of booking an alternative date.

We advise you to purchase suitable travel insurance to cover any cancellation charges incurred.
