On arrival at 27 Brighton Guesthouse, located at 27 Upper Rock Gardens, you are welcome to pull up outside the hotel to drop off your luggage and we will hand your parking permit/s to you.

Please ensure you write your car registration on the parking permit together with scratching out the date and time of parking on each 24 hour parking permit. Position the parking permit/s on your dashboard, clearly visible for parking attendants to view.

Alternatively, the following parking options are available :
1. On street parking around Queens Park (West Drive, Brighton BN2) - This is metered parking about a three minute walk from the bed and breakfast. It costs £8.90 for 11 hours and is paid on a daily basis at parking meters or via text (details by parking bays) or download the PayByPhone App (available on Android, Apple and Blackberry)

2. On street parking along Freshfields Road, BN2 - This is metered parking about a five minute walk from the bed and breakfast. It costs £8.90 for 11 hours and is paid on a daily basis at parking meters or via text (details by parking bays) or download the PayByPhone App (available on Android, Apple and Blackberry)

Please Note that at both these locations, the signs appear to say that you can only park for 11 hours. These are the chargeable hours. Parking is free on these streets from 21:00hrs to 09:00hrs

Driving directions to 27 Brighton:

• Head south on the M23 until it becomes the A23. Follow the A23 up to the Palace Pier

• Turn left onto the A259 for Rottingdean and Newhaven.

• Turn left at the first set of traffic lights, into Lower Rock Gardens. Drive up through the next set of traffic lights.

• 27 Brighton Guesthouse is on the left as you drive up the hill at the junction of Edward Street.

• Or you can turn left when you come to the Royal Pavilion and enter Edward St. at the first set of traffic lights turn into Upper Rock Gardens.

Travelling by Car from Gatwick Airport:

• Head south on the M23 (then A23) towards Brighton.

• Follow the A23 to Palace Pier.

• Turn left at the first set of traffic lights, into Lower Rock Gardens.

• Drive up through the next set of traffic lights and 27 Brighton Guesthouse is on the left hand side.
